Canada has better candy bars than America. There. I said it. They have all your basic American candy bars - Snickers, Twix, KitKat, Mounds, Mars bars (which they seem to love for some reason), Almond Joy, etc. but they also have exclusive ones that they keep all to their Canadian selves. Here's a photo of the candy my daughter got in her Halloween haul:
Note: Canadian "Smarties" are candy-coated chocolates like M&Ms only bigger.

Not pictured is our absolute favorite: Kinder Bueno, a chocolate covered crispy cookie filled with hazelnut goo. Think Ferraro Rocher in candy bar form instead of those big awkward balls.
In fact, Ferraro Rocher is the parent company of Kinder products, they just don't share them with America. Maybe because Kinder Eggs are against the law in America because they have tiny toys inside that could choke toddlers. Guns? No problem. Tiny little junky toys? DANGEROUS!
Then there's Coffee Crisp. It's like an oversized KitKat with a subtle coffee flavor. Even my daughter loves them, and she hates coffee.
Big Turk is another favorite - a take on turkish delights. It's basically chocolate covered gummy rosewater, and I love it.
Crispy Crunch is like a Butterfinger, only better.
A Crunchie is like aerated hardened toffee. It's good, but it will tear up the roof of your mouth.
These are our favorites and probably the reason I gained FIFTEEN POUNDS in the first 6 months we lived here. I'm down 7 now, partly due to cutting back on all this deliciousness but I might need to stock up before we leave.

That's so weird! Funny how food, especially candy, can be so different. I don't know that some of the ones you described would even make it here...lol!
